The Chairman New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Gombe State Barrister Rambi Ibrahim Ayala, has challenged the newly inaugurated zonal and local government party executives to be up and doing in ensuring NNPP is fully active in their respective areas of jurisdiction.

Rambi gave the charge during the inaugural state working committee meeting of the party in Gombe.

The chairman encouraged the zonal and local government executives who were inaugurated during the meeting to as a matter of patriotism, ensure the party has presence and is active in all the three senatorial zones and 11 local government areas of the state.

“You don’t start politics from the top, you start politics from the bottom. As leaders, we must go back to our various wards, local governments, zones and coming up to state level to strengthen our beloved party the NNPP. This is the only way we can make the party active and vibrant”.

He said with the statistic of party executive alone numbering up to 3801, NNPP has already laid a solid foundation that could lead to success at any poll.

While assuring of having a befitting party office at all levels, Barrister Rambi Ayala charged the executive to device means on how best to contribute for the success of the party.

In their goodwill messages, some party executives harps on unity, commitments, diligence and hardwork for NNPP to materialize in the future elections.

In his submission, Alhaji Babangida Sakatare encouraged party stakeholders to keep attendance of the party executive at all meetings, to identify active from non active executives.

Others like Auwal Muhammad, Musa Alhasan Aliyu Kwarra and Sani Ibrahim Jalo advised on measures to avail the party flags in strategic areas across the state.

They encouraged the state party executive to spelt out terms of reference for all offices to address overlapping and crossing of functions.

Also speaking, Andrew Simon and Habiba Adamu Garba encouraged the party to carry everyone along, while advising all executives to take their responsibilities serious.

On the other hand, Ɗahiru Aliyu and Umaru Ali Chilo who tasked the executives and other party faithfuls on sacrifice of resources for the progress of NNPP, advised the state executive to prioritize a system for reward.

The party’s legal advisor Barrister David Ishiyaku said with zeal, determination and commitments from the leadership and party members, nothing can stop NNPP from being the ruling party in Gombe State come 2027.

During the meeting, Barrister Ayala presented new NNPP membership cards and registration diaries to the zonal and local government executives for onward registration of new members into NNPP family.
