…Dolls Out Over 250 Motorcycles To Party Officials, District And Village Heads, Others

The Chief Whip of the 10th Assembly and Member Representing Akko Federal Constituency Usman Bello Kumo, has empowered over 750 micro business owners with 200,000 Naira each and over 250 motorcycles distributed to all Akko district and village heads as well as some party officials amongst others.

Speaking before the distribution at the palaces of Lamiɗo Akko, Emir of Pindiga and Lamiɗo Gona, the member said the empowerment is part of his constituency project he facilitated into the 2024 budget.

Usman Bello Kumo said the 150 million Naira cash empowerment was meant to strengthen the micro business men and women to cope with the current economic challenges.

The member said the support will strengthen the business men and women, boost their capital and production capabilities.

Speaking on the 250 motorcycles worth 200 million Naira, the member said the intervention was meant to encourage the traditional rulers (176 village heads and all district heads of Akko) at the grassroots to maintain security in their respective domains, and to easily report any emergency issue to next higher authorities for prompt response.

The Chief Whip said as people’s representative, he will not relent on his oars in providing better representation through provision of dividends of democracy to constituents, and in conveying their needs and demands to the federal government.

He appreciated Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for providing a level playing ground for the state’s politicians to deliver dividends of democracy to their people.

Usman Bello Kumo equally announced a soon to be commenced 1.4 billion Naira reconstruction of Government Day Secondary School Akkoyel Kumo.

He emphasized that the common man has every right to be served in the best way by political leaders, stressing that he will do everything possible to enlightened the electorates whom he described as backbone of democracy.

In their respective welcome and goodwill messages at the three places, the state house of assembly members Hon. Musa Muhammad Wuro Biriji of Akko North, Hon. Abdullahi Abubakar Maiwanka of Akko West, Speaker Gombe State House of Assembly Abubakar Muhammad Luggerewo and chairman Akko Local Government Council Muhammad Danladi Adamu appreciated the Chief Whip for having his people at heart, describing him as best member Akko Constituency ever had.

They called on other representatives and political appointees to borrow leaf from Usman Bello Kumo.

On his part, the Director General National Productivity Center Bappah Babba Ɗan Agundi represented by his deputy Alhaji Nasiru Usman, expressed satisfaction on the implementation grant.

He charged the beneficiaries to utilize the funds judiciously.

Also speaking the Lamiɗo Akko Alhaji Umar Muhammad Atiku, the Emir of Pindiga Alhaji Muhammad Seyoji Ahmad and Lamiɗo Gona Alhaji Umar Abdulkadir Abdussalam commended the Chief Whip for his good representation to Akko people, encouraging him to continue.

The royal fathers charged the beneficiaries to put the cash grants and the bikes into good use.
